Beach time!!

It was freezing out this weekend, but we decided it would still be fun to take Parker to see the ocean for the first time. You can't even believe how much he wanted to go in the water. His little feet kicked as fast as they could go. I can't wait to actually let him go IN the water... we can already tell he is going to be a water baby. I love having 3 day weekends with my family :)

Parker's Pony

You know how every child wants a pony when they are little? Well Parker and his cousins are lucky enough to get their own! Garrett's parents bought 4 ponies for the grandkids to play with and ride. We always told Parker when he was in the NICU for a week that we would buy him a pony if he would just get better and come home with us. Looks like our little joke turned out to be true :)
Parker got to ride Bullseye on mother's day, and he was obsessed! I think we have a little animal lover on our hands.

My first mother's day :)

Yesterday was my first mother's day. (I was pregnant last mother's day, but this one was official!). I was woken up at 10:30 by Garrett and my little Parkie pants, with flowers and a donut. They gave me a card and a box. In the box was a gorgeous citrine ring... which is Parker's and my birthstone. I LOVE IT. Then we went to lunch downtown and took some mother's day pictures. I love hanging out with my little family. Garrett kept reminding me that yesterday was all about me, and I can never get my first mother's day back. They spoiled me rotten :)
We then went to both of our parents houses and had 2 bbq's! I had the best day ever. Thank you to my best boys!

6 Months Old

We can't believe how fast the time goes. In 6 more months, we will have a 1 year old! We decided to celebrate his half birthday with a half birthday cake. It was so cute, and decorated with a "P". Don't worry, he didn't eat any of it, it was more for mommy and daddy. Well, maybe he got a little lick, but shhh... don't tell! He just liked to stick his fingers in it and smear it around. :)
