Parker and Ty

How cute are they? My nephew Ty, and Parker were reading a farm animal book tonight after their bath. I love how silly Parker was being.

It's a...

BOY!!!

We are so excited to be welcoming another little boy into the world. Our ultrasound was today, and I could have laid there all day and watch that little sweet pea move around. He is SO stinkin' cute! He kept flashing us (as the u/s tech called it)... so we could tell right away.

I think we shall call him...

Hudson.

:)

Mr. Polite

We went to Farmer's Market tonight with our friends Servando, Maria and Sarah. Parker loved it! He had his very first churro and caramel apple, along with a balloon and some freestyle dance time. It was so cute, and he was in heaven.

On another note, he learned how to say "please" today. He says "peeee?". It's so cute! He has said "thank you" for a while now, but we could never get him to say please. He always just said "more" if he wanted something. His little pleases and thank you's make my heart melt.

33 to 26

Those of you thinking boy over girl. I guess we'll see in 8 days!! I can't even contain my anxiousness.
Garrett strongly thinks girl...

Word Boy!

These are sample of all the words Parker knows. His vocabulary has just taken off the past few weeks, I don't think I can count all the words he can say. Such a smart little communicator!

My dad turned 59 on March 11th, and we celebrated his birthday tonight since Rob, Jen and Katie were all in town. We had a yummy bbq and apple pie and cake. MMM :)

16 Weeks

2 more weeks till we find out if it's a boy or girl!!!

Papa and Me

Papa Steve is one of Parker's favorite people. One of Parker's first words happened to be "Papa" (which Grammie didn't like so much!). They are best buds, and so cute together!
They were sharing some green tea the other day. Parker wasn't really a fan...

**Papa was in his cowboy gear from his shoot that day, he normally doesn't dress like this :)

Grammie and Papa's House

Parkie had a fun day at Grammie and Papa's house. He LOVES to wander out in the backyard, I think he could stay out there all day long if we let him.

I love this face!

Zoee and Remi, or as Parks calls them: "no no doggies!"

Swinging on the big swing

Airplane!

Hmm, what should I do next?

Grammie says I have to do the dishes if I want dessert.

Is this good enough, grams?

An apple? That's all I get for dessert? Oh well, I guess it's pretty good!

Thanks for dinner, Grammie and Papa! It was yummy.

Little Leprechaun

I can't believe how much this little leprechaun has changed in just a year! He is so stinkin cute. I do miss those chunky little cheeks, though... good thing they're still kind of chunky :)

Surgery Number 2 (or 3 for this family!)

Parker's second surgery is scheduled for June 3rd at Stanford. I really wish we didn't have to do this again, but hopefully it will be the last time! 3 surgeries for this family in one year is enough!

Please keep him in your prayers.

Parker's Easter Basket

How stinkin' cute are these? I wanted something personalized for Parker's Easter basket, and something not completely traditional. I love that he will be able to use it year round for toys, or in the sand box, and we don't have to pack it away each year. I got him the blue with red pail. It's kind of funny, because Hudson is our number one boys name right now :)
And I really love the white with pink in case we possibly have a girl. I LOVE personalized things!

What's up?

With the poll? Everyone in real life tells me they think I'm having a girl, and now boy is winning on our blog! I don't get it, you guys! :)

Belly Butt

Parker learned how to say belly button today. So cute :)

March 27th

That is when our big ultrasound is! And will hopefully be the day we find out if we are having a little girl, or another little boy. I can't even wait!!

*I added a new poll, in case you want to take a gender guess :)

My Boys

I think one of the hardest parts of Garrett's injury is that he doesn't get to play with Parker very much anymore. Parker is kind of a rough houser, so it's scary to have a vulnerable arm next to him.
But last night they started watching tv together, while Garrett was massaging Parker's head and neck. It was SO cute. This is the closest they've been in a few days (other than the thousands of kisses they give each other).
I can't wait for them to be able to wrestle and play again.
And I can't wait to hug and snuggle my husband again!

I am definitely getting in some nursing practice for the future though! Giving Garrett his medicine on time, making sure he eats and drinks, giving him baths, helping him in and out of bed, getting him dressed, and making sure he is comfy. I couldn't have a cuter patient :)

Guh Wam Uh

That's Parker's version of "grandma". You have no idea how excited my mom is today!

My Poor Guy

We probably had one of the scariest mornings of our life on Wednesday. I was woken up at 4:30am to my mom yelling my name outside my bedroom window. I had apparently left my phone on vibrate during the night while Garrett was working at CMC.
The first thing she says is "Garrett fell down a 14 foot trench at work". My heart just about broke in half. At that time, they thought he had a broken arm, but weren't sure if there was any other damage.
My mom and I went to the ER and waited for Garrett to get there. It took a while for him to get there because they had to put him on a stretcher and lift him out of the hole. When he got there, he was covered in mud, and strapped down.
His elbow was very swollen, and confirmed that it was fractured by an XRay. They checked everything out, and luckily that was his only injury (besides a little gash on his shin). He passed out a couple of times from pain, and was throwing up, so they were concerned something else was wrong.
We later found out he had to have surgery on his elbow, and a titanium plate would have to be put in.

Garrett went in to surgery around 11:30, and I got to see him again around 4:30. Everything went well with the surgery, but he had to stay overnight for antibiotics and pain medication.
They put it in a soft cast, and he has a sling around it. He will have to go to physical therapy for a while, and will be out of work for at least 8 weeks.

He is in quite a bit of pain, but is doing well. He is getting a lot of attention and love from friends and family, which is helping him get better :)

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone for the well wishes, prayers, calls and texts. It really meant a lot to us to be surrounded by friends and family, and lots of prayer.
God really was looking out for us that day. Garrett probably had one of the best possible outcomes for the situation. It could have been so much worse. I thank God every day that I still have my husband in my life, and Parker has his daddy. I can't even imagine how it would be to lose him.
He is our everything.

WE LOVE YOU, BABE!
